Boxing Days....

just a short entry this one..

these 3 days was really an experience for me... great that im experiencing my first boxing day@ crazy sales with abang aka minister of transport, Kak In aka plannner of events, Kak Ip aka my London's Shopping partner, Wanny aka the crazy shopper [thanks to me] and Afie aka future crazy shopper yang bakal mengalah kan kami semua..not forgetting akilah aka the little angle yang good girl sangat dikala mummy and abah dia shopping sakan!

day 1 - Bicester Village
day 2 - Next, Marks & Spencer, Selfridges, Oxford Street
day 3 - Swindon

Nisa's Visit from Liverpool...

Nisa came over from Liverpool for a visit! it was a short yet fun visit!

Nisa sampai at about 10 am in Hendon Central.. went to pick her up at HC while wanny and afie still tengah kong from all the tiredness of Paris. Sampai jer rumah whipped up a simple lunch while nisa layan guitar hero...the menu for the day was daging masak blackpepper/kicap and sayur asparugus with mushrooms! sorry yer nisa..simple ajer since me still kepenatan...

Later that evening we headed straight to Winter Wonderland...our ice skating session was ar 4pm..ice skating was fun tapi sangatlah kekok! my last ice skating session was ages ago..back in south africa..i was like 10 years old..heheh.. roller bladding ader laaa kan nisa??? up and down of the SS18's hill! our juara Wanny! skate dah cam orang putih! errkkk..laju jer..nasib baik dia dengan baik hatinya bawak seround kadar laju...after that jalan-jalan and naik the rides.. best nya..rasa all the kepenatan and stress flew away with the wind..huhu..

setel jer kat winter wonderland cam ingat nak balik terus sebab saya terasa sangat penats..tapi ader orang tu cam nak sangat gi satu kedai yang saya ngan nisa sangat suka...dengan nada..eh kat mana kedai tu? jom laaa gi kedai tu! huhuh... so brought them there.. masuk jer muka excited habis afie and wanny and borong cam orang giler! terkejut beruks nisa and I... now they know kehebatan kedai itu! kedai apakah?? jeng jeng jeng....to close up our day, we lepaks at starbucks for some hot drinks...

day 2

woke up a bit late than expected...cepat2 wat breakfast@brunch for nisa, wanny and afie..keluar umah and headed straight to covent garden...walked upwards towards leicester square,picadilly circus and regent street..today was all about sight seeing and photo snapping...kakiku penat sangat but we had lots of fun! had our lunch@dinner at mc d..then lepaskan kepenatan at UNIQLO..hehe..all of us bought ourselves skinnys baru..huhu..after that sambung jalan sehinggalah the station oxford circus untuk pulang...

day 3

hahaha..again, we woke up later than expected..cepat2 siap sebab its nisa's last day..first destination was the millenium bridge.. nisa has heard about its history and suggested that we go there..lepas amik gambar and all we headed towards the st paul's and had our lunch at pizza express..second destination was camden market...just jalan2 at the market and lepas tu masuk the aldo wearhouse..dapat jugalah hasil tangkapan masing-masing..from there headed straight back home sbb nisa nak get her things before heading to the station...

thanks babe for coming...we had lots of fun..kalau sempat i'll turun Liverpool puler next spring or summer ok! kalau sempat before u hols kat msia that is...

Paris

finally i've arrived at one of my dream destination...


managed to go to all places in mind pre-paris trip!

paris was great but cold to the max!

the first day was really wet and cold! sian kat wanny and afie sebab disamping belum recover dari jet lag terpaksa jua menempuh kesejukan kadar melampau..but on the other hand i was freezing cold as well! second day was much better..it was cold but tak hujan...thrid day pula kembali drizzle..so sejuks kembali..

Shopping????

disebabkan my nature as an accountant, saya sangatlah calculative! because of the exchange rates saya rasa everything is cheaper in Loncon..so end up just beli ole-ole for the family and for myself i just bought a bangle from a local designer..LOVED IT!

Transport...

secara overall i didnt like the metro compared to the London underground! huhu.. the only advantage is that since the stops between stations are shorter and the train is faster we will arrive at our destination sooner..why i dont like it?

~ the stations are super busuk..hancing bangats!
~ to change between lines are super far n jalan jauh sangat which includes naik turun tangga and liku-liku..haihssss
~ on some lines the metro's door perlu dibuka sendiri oleh penumpangs..[paling tak suka]

anyways...Paris was a great trip! us girls had so much fun...mahu wat lagi trip kah?? new york next year???ermmm jika sempat kumpul duit yer ...saya masih student :P

bangun at 630 today!! super excited!!! wanny and afie should be on the plane snoozing now! yeay yeay... the plan was to fetch them from heathrow at about 410pm..or maybe 445 kots sbb nak amik bag n all..then balik umah hantar bag pastu terus shoot pi Brent Cross to get some things before goin tomorrow! itupun kalau mereka tak pancit laaa

esok pagi we'll be leaving home early at around 430 am..our train will leave for paris at about 545am..the journey will take about 2 hours and 52 minutes..

i cannot wait to see the Eiffel tower...

todays paper was so-so...im just not in the mood..not only im having my exams but i'm down with a major flu, sore throat and fever.. the time could'nt be any worst...the exam hall was freezing cold today so i guess with this flu i need to bundle up even more...tomorrows paper cam tak der confident jeks but what the heck..cuba jer laaa...looking forward for wednesday's paper though coz tu yang paling prepare! ok..now need to take the meds..last kopek and sleep!

p/s: i now officially understand why ACCA is a very tough exam to pass...should have stayed in msia coz the passing rate is different since english is the second language! dats what they say..but i'll never know will i!

today i bangun awal tatkala warga finchley laners sedang tidur lagi..need to go and check out my exam center for next week and make an estimatation of travel time..kita nie semalam yo yo lah print map and so on..rupaya agak senang laa..keluar jer underground Earl's Court terus nampak..but nak jalan ke my particular exam hall tu agak jauh ke dalam juger...it took me about 2 hours to reach there..kalau kat Malaysia dah sampai Ipoh dah!

on the way back try ikut another route..it took me bout 1 hour 45 minutes tapi that line sangatlah ramai orang! dalam train cam tetiba jer teringin goo's choclate cheese cake..[wanny and afie pasti fall in love with goo's range of deserts. Kalau miss nicol ader pun mesti sangatlah suka!]. eh..betul ker eja..goo ke gu!

Anyway's sampai kat Hendon Central , I was contemplating samada nak ke pegi Brent Cross to buy the cake..Since at that time ada bus lalu, tanpa berfikir panjang hop on and off I go. Niat pegi hanyalah untuk menuju ke Waitrose to buy the cake..Tapi sebab tgk Boots meriah sangat masuk jap nak tgk2 harga perfumes and so on..

Perhatian untuk Cik Nicol! ur FCUK body spray bout 20 pounds pastu dapat bag patent berwarna hitam bersama-sama..jika nak pesan silalah roger!

As I was walking out SA dari benefit tu panggil..She remembered me from my previous buys..So dia cam panggil nak promote items baru..So saya yang tengah stress blaja nie pun cakap OK! sambil dia dok ala-ala makeover and..

Ni hasil makeover mini dia..tapi taklaa lawa sgt sbb dua try the erase paste, powderflage,boi-ing and the get ever..dahi tak wat sgt juger sbb takut kene tudungku!


saya pun terbeli one for me and one for my sis! heheh...tunggu yer ayu!!

lps jer habis I was like ALAMAK! dah kul 11am..me dah bazir my study time..cepat2 jalan gi Waitrose and beli the deserts for me and kak in...croissants and yougurt for akilah..barang dapur for the rumah..and off I go!

Well, I've got exactly 4 days left before my BIG day..not my wedding though..my one and only first attempt of the ACCA papers..

i'll be starting my P1 on monday..P2 on tuesday and P3 on wednesday...3 straight days..not that i'm not use to it in MMU..but its the first time to sit for an ACCA paper..the feeling of uncertainty is definately there..

hope im not gonna flunk all papers..its really gonna be tiring as i have to travel almost 2 hours to reach the exam center everyday..balik pun another 2 hours..hbs 3 days mesti flatness..
