The First London's Snowflake This Season..

yes...its true...the first snow fell on the 28th October 2008 around 10 ish..hehhe..mmg terasa sejuk last night... tgh snuggling in my room while chatting with hasanah...suddenly kak ip was like shouting its snowing!!! terus tengok kat luar tingkap..suddenly I was the one shouting...Happy ok!! my first snow since my arrival and its only october...tak sangka lak central london nak snow coz the weather forecast cakap south and north...yess..hendon is in north tapi takderlaa north sangat...

sesi kegirangan pun bermula...kak in was in the room with akilah so kak ip and I rushed downstairs in our pyjamas...i was like jumping up and down in the light snow..heheh..seronok tak terkira @ jakun pun ader..hahaha..neighbour depan siap dok kat window and tengok whats all the fuss about..siap bergambar and all..mesti dia geleng kepala tengok gelagat aku..

after bout 40 minutes the snow turned into light rain...sedey laa sebab esok takleh gi main-main kat park..tapi..happy sebab sempat bersuka ria..heheh..

weekend activities!

Last Saturday Abang Velu invited us to Cranfield University's Raya gathering... so that afternoon abang, kak in, akilah, abang wan, kak wan and I drove up to Cranfield.. it was about an hour plus drive... tempat tu ala-ala countryside..cantik juger.. tapi i was expecting nampak kuda...hahha..i know..its sounds kelakar..malangnya..on the way tu the only thing yang kitaorg nampak hanyalah kambing and squirel..

The gathering was held at the university's community center..food was great!! terasa laa raya sikit..tapi..the people was not really friendly...Kak In, Kak Wan and I end up duduk bertiga jer...next..drop by Abang Velu's place to see his new place.. besar juger for an in campus house..

Lepas tu shoot gi bicester village...about an hour drive juger..abang speeding habis sampai naik loya laa jugak!!!arrived at 6 pm...so kirenya ader sejam jer.. the plan was to tgk jer the place supaya next time datang ngan wanny tak laa blur sangat jadi tour guide..best gak..bnyk kedai yang menarik di mata ku...tergoda gaks..tapi kene saving dulu..about 7 tu..lepak jap kat starbucks..

after that memandangkan dah dekat abang brought us to oxford...the dream university for many people... sampai jer area campus I was like..lawanya...barulaaa ader feel university and study place..not like my college..sekali pandang orang ingat office jer !!hahaha.. after that headed home terus...

the next day, went for a late lunch kat gourmet garden.. its a malaysian chinese restaurant..sajer laa nak belanja abang and kak in sebab I dont pay the rent etc.. akilah baik jer..she sat on the baby's high chair..dats the second time she tried sitting..the first was ta pizza hut..heheh..anyways,our menu was...

lobster noodle..buttered prawn..cilied soft shell crab..and scallop,prawn cooked with asparragus..

all dishes was nyummy...however the bill was about 92 pounds..terkejut gak mula ..heheh..budget 50 pounds per...bayangkan kalau kat malaysia sanggup ke daku bayar bout rm540 for lunch??? tapi tamau laa convert kan..nasib baik mmg dis month agak saving with my expenses...

after that we went to ASDA for groceries shopping..again akilah comel bangat and suka bila we tried putting her in the trolly..

on the way balik tu abang decided to take a drive around mill hill, and somewhere in east finchley...kata abang nak tunjuk kat I the area..hehhe...

anyways..all in all it was a great weekened..great family time..abang has been really busy at work and balik lewat everyday..akilah pun happy jer spent time ngan abah and mummy dia..by the way just to let u guys know..akilah dah start cakap sikit-sikit..yesterday dia sebut sister! arini..duck! and repeating it..hehe comel..

errmmm i like...

its been almost 4 months now since I last pampered myself...back home kalau letih sikit je gi body massage atau foot reflexology..kalau tension jer gi pedi and mani...haihss at times like this I am thankful that I'm from Malaysia coz kalau kat sana takderlaa mahal sangat..everything here is so expensive sampai nak gi potong rambut pun pikir dua tiga kali..

been thinking of going for a body massage coz badan terasa teramatlah lenguh and sakit2..yer yer..complain macam orang tua..but thats the fact...akan tetapi..bila pikir it will coz me about 50 pounds per session..CANCEL!!! duit travel and makan ku for 3 days tu..haiyaa..nampaknya terpaksa laa tampal koyok jer...

plus my eye brows mmg a mess sekarang... bila terkenangkan kat malaysia threading 5 hinggit jer rasa nak nangis pun ader..kat sini about 10-15 pounds...boleh tak nak balik untuk self pamper jer...hehhe..in my dreams laa kan..

nampak gayanya kene bayangkan or dream about all the self pampering jer laa..sob sob..oklah..back to studying..tengah study sebenarnya ..tapi sebab sakit pinggan mula laa nak melayang merata-rata..huhuh..daA.....

have you noticed that songs can really gives us a great impact to our lives.. for me songs can definately trigger both happy and sad memories...if you even forget a person or an event a certain song will definately refreshed your mind..we'll it works for me..

however, in my honest opinion, I prefer to hear and enjoy a number of songs in the past compared to the present...i remembered the good old days when i was a fan of KRU, Backstreetboys, ABBA, Celine Dion and etc.. I still love them by the way...not fogetting all the lagu rock kapak dulu2 kala.. eh betul ke orang panggil rock kapak?? its really hard to find a good song that i love nowdays..hehhe..ke I yang cerewet? mungkin laa kots...bukan la tak suka tapi i prefer lagu2 lama...

i was watching all the old videoclip of KRU and BSB kat youtube...cant help laughing and squirking at myself sbb I was one on those fanatic fans...remembered the BSB concert @ sunway..nasib baik wanny ajak i gi..it was all worth it..kalau ader KRU nak wat concert yang diorg akan nyanyi the songs from the good old days mesti I akan g jugaks...kuang kuang...

anyways, sajer jer nak rambles bout this today..adios...missing everyone at home..mmuahhh

What Should I do!

well.. cuaca di kota london ini makin membuat diri ini depress!!! i know it sounds a bit lame complaining and whinning..tapi...i am turning into a GLOOMY person..

moreover there's something dat has been bothering my mind...nak check for certainty takut to face the truth...bila pikir akan the turnout it really make me feel numb n menambahkan depress..the days are numbered and the clock is ticking... i certainly tak boleh melambatkan my actions coz kalau terlambat then there wont be any solutions at all...

my upcoming exams pula is just round the corner..2 months to be exact..dah start study tapi...not full swing mode..kenapalah masalah ini perlu timbul now!

the only thing that makes me cheer up nowdays is the incoming calls from malaysia and spending time with akilah...goshh...how boring can i be!

Eid 2008...

yesterday i got to spend my first eid in London...we celebrated our eid on the 30th September 2008..satu hari lebih awal dari Malaysia.. I guess this my first time ever berpuasa for 29 days sahaja..Lucky for us, Kak in already prepared most of the blending , tumis etc the night before..so on the raya eve tinggal nak masak and mengemas je..Our raya menu was rendang ayam minang, kuah kacang, nasi impit and ketupat palas..our ketupat palas was an improvised version anyways.. Since abang prefer ketupat palas rather than ketupat nasi, Kak In decided tu fulfilled her beloved husband's wishes..instead of using daun palas, kitaorg shaped the pulut into segitiga in plastic..hehehe...thankfully the end product agak menjadi and nyum-nyum..

anyways, this raya was really a mixture of emotions raya for me..first of all im away from all the people that i love and i really do miss them...however, I get to compensate it by enjoying my first raya in London..moreover i get to spent my raya with abang setelah almost 7 years tak beraya bersama..lagi satu its my first raya with my kakak ipar..dan...yang paling penting i get to spent akilah's first ever raya..

we started our raya with the ritual maaf bermaafan..then menjamu selera...next, kitaorg gi Malaysian Embassador's open house..ramai juge orang..overall the food was nice..then, we went to Kak In's friends house.. dapatlah merasa juadah orang turki..makan lagi! then we head to Abang Feroz'z place.. by that time we were already full so end up minum n makan papodom jer.. eh betul ker ejaan tu?? lepas tu pulang ker rumah terus coz abang's friend, Jamal was coming over..

Kirenya my raya here was a simple yet memorable raya..
