on the second day we went out from the apartment at about 11 am..took the bus to princess street..from there we "hiked" up to the edinburgh castle and the royal mile..the view was breathless...tenang jer rasa...after bout 3 hours of walking around we headed to the train station to pick up the rented car.. it started raining while we were walking..hence...
rain+wind+wet=freezeness
lepas amik kreta we went to see Kak In's exam center..then, headed to the Ocean Terminal Shopping Center to grab something to eat..the shopping center ternyata lebih tenang untuk bersuka-suki dan membeli belah compared to London..heheh..too bad tak sempat nak bershopping! after that we headed back to the apartment as Kak In needs to rest and continued studying..
third day was kak in's big examination day...keluar dari apartment at about 12 plus..lepas hantar kak in at the exam center, abang bwk me and akilah round2 to see the parliament. Next we went to Arthur's Seed.. akilah was really happy to see the ducks and swans...terus keluar her "ducks" and "quacks"..from there we went back to ocean terminal shopping center to buy balaclava for kak in and myself..at about 4 we went to fetch kak in balik..next we headed to fetch kak sela for dinner..ate at lockfyne seafood grill.. the food was yummy!
day four we checked out from the apartment at about 10am dan bertolak ke Inverness...it took us about 3 hours to reach there..the scenary all the was breathless..we passed the highlands where all the mountains were covered in snow..since it was my first time to see so much snow jakun laaa kans :D. Arrived at betul-betul half an hour before out boat cruise in Lockness..sempat gi toilet and minum hot chochlate to recharge..the boat cruise was not as cold as I though it was..maybe sbb dah bundle up cam apam siap-siap..impian untuk jumpa the legand and myth of nessie tak tercapai juger..huhu..anyways, I still enjoyed the cruise! next, we went to our B&B to check in and rest a bit.. I was impressed with the B&B concept as it was my first time..slalu dok hotel or rest house jer..had my own room as abang ,kak in and akilah was in the next room..dalam eightish camtu keluar to the town to ronda-ronda and dinner.. had Italian food at Bella Italia..sedap juger!
day five...our last day..we checked out at about 10 am..we were lucky as it started to snow when we were loading the car...drove back to edinburgh as we needed to arrive before 3 pm as our train was at 330pm..we almost didnt make it sebab bila masuk edinburgh jer kreta dah cam kura-kura..semua dah start cuak as we needed to hantar kreta sewa lagi..change akilah's nappy lagi..alhamdullillah sampai at about 315 at the station and quickly unload the car and returned it..nappy akilah hanya sempat change on the train...by the time duduk jer dalam train tu dah pancit after the rushed moment..nasib baik balik abang amik the 1st class tickets..luas and comfortable sikit the seats..we arrived at St Pancreas at 830pm..
overall loved the trip as it was a short and was a good break for me and my studies! enjoyed the scenary very much! now i'll have to go back to reality and accept the fact that i have an exam in a weeks time!
lepas tu yeay and hooray sebab Wanny and Afie sampai on the 15th and we'll be leaving along with kak ip to paris!cant wait!

Edinburgh- Day 1
we departed from Kingscross at exactly 11 am.. the train was very convenient..siap ada wi-fi for those yang nak uat kerja etc..seats was ok..akilah had a blast and was really an angel..gembira jer all the way..anyways it took us about 4 hours and 15 minutes to arrive here..keluar jer dari train we immediatly felt the strong gust of wind! took a cab to the service apartment..
We will be staying at Western Harbour View Apartment till Friday. I was quite impress with the place and it was definately what i expected..its near to the harbour. Usually what we see n the website is different, but this apartment was definately cosy and nice. Its a 2 bedroom apartment with 2 toilets..the kitchen and living room are also spacious! Will upload the pics soon..Akilah pun happy jer crawling everywhere memandangkan she got all the space she wants..However mummy and abah dia had to hide all the decors and vase!
After freshend up..we went ot to ASDA to get some groceries.. yang kelakarnya we waited for a bus. Dekat gile ok.. tak sempat nak panaskan kerusi pun..we decided to walk back to the apartment..sambil jalan tu ader laa adegan terhuyung-hayang..angin kuat ok! but i definately love the weather...its different from London!
Sampai the apartment abang masak dinner and we rest.. semua mmg dah lapar giler memandangkan we only ate sandwiches during the day.
Getting sleepier now.need to rest for tomorrow...will update soon!
p/s: Alhamdullilah my lymph nodes are less swollen than yesterday but im still on ibuprofen till it fades away!

Swollen Lymph Nodes!
you guys know that Ive been sick up and down for the past weeks..Now to my discomfort a have a swollen lymph node! its near my upper jaw under my right ear..i discovered it on Sunday..today, it feels even worse! i cant seem to talk or eat properly and brushing my teeth is like the worst thing i wanna do!
Why Do Lymph Nodes Become Swollen?
Lymph nodes are tiny capsules, about the size of a pea or small bean that are filled with the cells that help protect the body from illness, which are types of white blood cells called macrophages and lymphocytes. When you get ill, these cells go into action to fight disease, and the lymph nodes may swell due to presence of disease or abnormal tissue in the lymph nodes. There are actually several reasons why lymph nodes become swollen, and many conditions that can cause painful swollen nodesnodes nodes. Which lymph nodes become swollen can sometimes help track which diseases are creating the problem.
Lymph nodes become swollen usually from bacterial or viral infections. As bacteria or viruses invade the nodes, they harden and inflame, and they can really begin to hurt. With colds and flu’s, you may note painfully swollen nodes around the throat, under the arms and at the groin. When lymph reaches very large sizes, especially those around the throat and under the jaw, you may have mumps. Other conditions may sometimes cause large lymph nodes around this area, like strep throat, measles, ear infections, cat scratch fever, gonorrhea, syphilis, toxoplasmosis, or mononucleosis.
Sometimes lymph nodes become swollen and indicate an infection present elsewhere in the body. For instance, if you have an infected cut or wound, or you have a blood infection, you may note lymph nodes become swollen throughout the body. Usually they are most swollen closest to the infection, if it’s on the skin.
In some cases, autoimmune disorders mean lymph nodes become swollen more or less chronically. This is because the body turns on itself, and produces extra white blood cells to attack regular aspects of the body it views as foreign tissue. Typical autoimmune disorders like lupus, rheumatoid arthritis, Hashimoto’s thyroiditis, or HIV may mean lymph nodes become swollen or remain swollen for long periods of time.
Swollen lymph nodes can also indicate the presence of foreign abnormal tissue in the nodes, in other words forms of cancer. Lymphoma for instance, specifically attacks the lymph system, and may result in one or more lymph swelling. In other cases, blood cancers like leukemia, mean lymph nodes become swollen.
A swollen lymph node is usually considered to be .39 inches (about a centimeter) in diameter. You’ll definitely be able to feel swelling in most cases, and it can be painful. When you’ve had a doctor identify the cause, treatment of the causal factor can help gradually bring down lymph node swelling. In the interim, while treatment has not yet worked, you can address the discomfort by taking anti-inflammatory medications like ibuprofen. You can also use warm compresses on the swollen nodes to help bring some relief for the condition. Given the potentially serious causes of swollen lymph nodes, do check with a doctor if lymph node swelling doesn’t reduce in a few days.

snow again!
today.. november 23, 2008 saya rasa my second snow in london! hehhe..sekali lagi it was just a short one... after that the rain washed it away...the excitement lebih terasa kepada my housemate's anak sedara who's here for a visit from Malaysia..the weather are getting colder by day..hopefully sempat laa merasa snow in Scotland puler..heheh..mintaklak1 kang sejuk ketaq kang nyesal puler!!

Akilah is now 9 month old...
Last 14th Akilah turned 9 month old...As always she is getting cuter and brighter each and every day..She can also sing and dance in her own little baby language..More words are coming out day by day and sometimes she will imitate the word that she hears...ohh.. not forgetting she now loves to scream for fun!!attention seeker wink* wink*
Anyways, Ucu cant wait for your 1st birthday.. yeah I know its a long way to go!!

Anyways, currently been busy studying for my upcoming exams. Guilty however for not touching the books at all today. It seems that my moods have been swinging these days. And yet i'm suppose to well prepare for tomorrow's and friday's revision class..
Decided to join the Scotland trip. I guess if I dont go now I might not get the chance to go. Pejam mata jer la for the train tickets. I cant really be complaining since my brother is paying for the rest..Thanks Abang!!

Just to share..
memula advert nie keluar the uk tv I was like advert aper nie?? seriusly tak der mengena ok! tapi cool and feel jer mamat nie!!
Keserabutan yang melanda diriku..
Well... dah dekat seminggu dah tak update anything in my blog...lots has been happening and lots has been on my mind sepanjang this week..
Firstly, went to watch the new bond movie..my verdict - the previous one was definately better..tapi sangat suka tgk olga; the new bond gurl..banyak-banyak kali pandang cam natasha hudson pun ader..btw, paid 15 pounds for the tickets to watch it in leicester square...this was the same place where the world premier was held..the theater was big..p/s: jakun sikit pun ader..ahaks..
Second, had my revision class for paper P3 on monday and tuesday.. i must say both days went great without being sleepy at all..i thank michael for giving a good version of the mini notes and which framework to emphasize on..
Third, finally setelah sekian lama dapat juge book the tickets and accomodation for the paris trip! yahooo!!! thanks to expedia.com thanks juger to kak ip..i dah give up dah nak cari and lost hope...so to wanny and afie get ur gears ready!! p/s: dia siap bgtau tips bahawasanya pabila di paris, kita perlu sentiasa fashionable..hhuhuhu..kalau pakai selekeh akan dibolayan!!! jeans and t-shirt dianngap selekeh..sabarjerlaa!!
Forth, went out with kak ip on thursday...kak ip lepas gian and balas dendam..shopping sakan! heheh..i had mine last week ..heheh... tatkala jalan-jalan ternampak satu coat@outerwear@knitwear yang sangat cantik..but it will cost me 70 pounds...SHOULD I??? it fits me nicely and sampai today daku masih teringat-ingat akan coat itu..sob sob..still thinking...
Fifth, process study still agak slow...enjin keretapi ini masih tak panas-panas lagi..
Sixth, i'm still contemplating samada nak ikut abang and kak in to scotland..reasons:-
~ the date is 2 weeks before my exam
~ do i have enough money to go ???
Kalau tak pegi tak tau lagi samada I will have the chance to go again in the future..I'd appreciate to you guys reading to to leave a comment to help me make a decision..my bro nak book latest by Monday..
Seventh, banyak betul kene guna duit for december nie..wish i had more money..sob sob..

Eight, the never ending problem which is the ups and downs of my emotional state!! susah nak explain and susah nak resolve..
