on the second day we went out from the apartment at about 11 am..took the bus to princess street..from there we "hiked" up to the edinburgh castle and the royal mile..the view was breathless...tenang jer rasa...after bout 3 hours of walking around we headed to the train station to pick up the rented car.. it started raining while we were walking..hence...

lepas amik kreta we went to see Kak In's exam center..then, headed to the Ocean Terminal Shopping Center to grab something to eat..the shopping center ternyata lebih tenang untuk bersuka-suki dan membeli belah compared to London..heheh..too bad tak sempat nak bershopping! after that we headed back to the apartment as Kak In needs to rest and continued studying..
third day was kak in's big examination day...keluar dari apartment at about 12 plus..lepas hantar kak in at the exam center, abang bwk me and akilah round2 to see the parliament. Next we went to Arthur's Seed.. akilah was really happy to see the ducks and swans...terus keluar her "ducks" and "quacks"..from there we went back to ocean terminal shopping center to buy balaclava for kak in and myself..at about 4 we went to fetch kak in balik..next we headed to fetch kak sela for dinner..ate at lockfyne seafood grill.. the food was yummy!
day four we checked out from the apartment at about 10am dan bertolak ke Inverness...it took us about 3 hours to reach there..the scenary all the was breathless..we passed the highlands where all the mountains were covered in snow..since it was my first time to see so much snow jakun laaa kans :D. Arrived at betul-betul half an hour before out boat cruise in Lockness..sempat gi toilet and minum hot chochlate to recharge..the boat cruise was not as cold as I though it was..maybe sbb dah bundle up cam apam siap-siap..impian untuk jumpa the legand and myth of nessie tak tercapai juger..huhu..anyways, I still enjoyed the cruise! next, we went to our B&B to check in and rest a bit.. I was impressed with the B&B concept as it was my first time..slalu dok hotel or rest house jer..had my own room as abang ,kak in and akilah was in the next room..dalam eightish camtu keluar to the town to ronda-ronda and dinner.. had Italian food at Bella Italia..sedap juger!
day five...our last day..we checked out at about 10 am..we were lucky as it started to snow when we were loading the car...drove back to edinburgh as we needed to arrive before 3 pm as our train was at 330pm..we almost didnt make it sebab bila masuk edinburgh jer kreta dah cam kura-kura..semua dah start cuak as we needed to hantar kreta sewa lagi..change akilah's nappy lagi..alhamdullillah sampai at about 315 at the station and quickly unload the car and returned it..nappy akilah hanya sempat change on the train...by the time duduk jer dalam train tu dah pancit after the rushed moment..nasib baik balik abang amik the 1st class tickets..luas and comfortable sikit the seats..we arrived at St Pancreas at 830pm..
overall loved the trip as it was a short and was a good break for me and my studies! enjoyed the scenary very much! now i'll have to go back to reality and accept the fact that i have an exam in a weeks time!
lepas tu yeay and hooray sebab Wanny and Afie sampai on the 15th and we'll be leaving along with kak ip to paris!cant wait!
