aidilfitri 2009

this raya was extra speacial for us because it has been 7 years since abang spent his raya at home and tok non [my mama's mom] has been here since before ramadhan..kire meriah sikit la raya dirumah kami berbanding tahun-tahun sebelum ini..

had our solat Aidilfitri at Masjid Darul Ehsan yang sudah berwajah baru :p cantik and lebih selesa after the renovation..during the takbir session papa was given the mic several times :P and the khutbah raya was touching and at the same time memberi peringatan pada diri untuk menjadi insan yang lebih baik..got some bad news bout myself several days ago and saya mmg sedikit emotional..

after solat head home.. sampai umah bersiap sedia and had our sesi bermaafan and family photo..shortly after that mak adek and hubby arrived..at bout 11.30 we went to uncle hashim's house for the usual gathering.. mak adah and family sampai at about the same time..lepas makan and all balik kerumah pula for mama's raya dishes..wendy arrived at about 2 to celebrate raya with us...

menu dirumah:
ayam golek, daging masak hitam, nasi minyak, kuah kacang paru and daging, pulut tetai and sekaya by mama...ketupat nasi and kuah kacang ayam prepared by SIL in sepang..masak lodeh by mak adah and rendang daging by mak adek

semuanya lazat2 belaka..terasa genduts setelah makan dengan bnyknya..heheh

later in the evening wanny, afie and their mom arrived..after maghrib parents and adik kak in pula arrived followed by ms rifqah at bout 8 plus..

overall mmg meriah rumah kami pada first raya tahun ini...my last year as penerima duit raya juga mendapatkan amount yang lebih dari dijangka..duit itu akan ku guna untuk keperluan yang lebih berfaedah :P special thanks to my parents, my bro, my sis, my grandma and ms bass for the duit raya ..wink wink.. tak sangka dah tua ini masih leh mendapat hasil tangkapan..amin...tatkala menjadi penganggur ini i have succesfully restrained myself from shopping :D

 

hari raya kedua pula as usual lebih kearah rest and relax.. woke up at about 9 and had breakfast.. selepas itu bersiap sedia and mak adek, ayu and i kerumah wanny untuk beraya..had yummy nasi dagang cooked by wanny herself..first time rasa nasi dagang ngan udang.. biasanya penah tengok lauk ikan tonggol and ayam jer..so today i learnt something new.. lepas to drop mak adek at subang parade and balik tukar baju and keluar balik to pick up wanny and afie for our "tsunami" session at gardens..berderai gak lahh air mata afie and i tgk..muakakka..



balik at about 5 plus.. pak kri and family dah ada dirumah...after maghrib pula rehat dirumah sambil mengadakan sesi bersembang dengan mama, tok non and ayu..

esok ada raya gathering @ housewarming kat umah mak adah...cant wait! till next time..toodlesss

iftar sessions

alhamdullillah tinggal beberapa hari jer lagi ramadhan and just thought of sharing my iftar sessions with friends and family..it was a good sessions since after dah start work i dont think leh jumpa semua org within several weeks:P lepas nie pun jumpa raya insyaAllah

i cannot believe it ![ gaya little einsteins]

satu insiden telah berlaku tatkala saya ke rumah wanny utk membantunya membuat kuih raya! balik td like laughing at myself.. penat sgt kah aku sehingga boleh......muakakka.. tapi now after a cup of hazelnut latte im wide awake

anyways semalam dah settle membuat kuih samprit resipi turun temurun :P alhamdullillah..

today dah gi amik offer letter n all.. next week nampaknya kene wat medical check up..gi amik epf statement etc etc.. gumbira dpt keje tapi tak gumbira sbb might have to korbankan my trip with wanny, her mom n afie...still in discussion..

saya juga akan hilang dari dunia cyber, dunia family, dunia gumbira dan musim raya selama 3 minggu...

tensi juger sbb till today baju raya lom sempat siap..howla nk bg mama jahit maniks?? dah la baju plain ..esok nk gi marah sam! i need to find a shoe that is suitable with my baju kurung...oopss.. i think i might need working pants as well..

kene kumpul duit for novembers trip as well...:P tu pun cam tak sabar... hope tak hectic sgt bersama kerja...

lepas nie i perlu save and stay low.. bnyk hutang birthday prezzie orang..dan prezzie rakan2 yang akan dtg juger..ptptn lagi.. kreta lagi.. money money money

menu of the day..special lamb prepared by mr ashraf and baked chicken prepared by mrs tengku intan...salad by me:P specially ordered cheese cake, assorted fruits and dessert...

it was a simple event but a memorable one!!

the first day of the month...

its 1st of september morning and how time flies real fast... nothing has change in the past few weeks.. still with the same old daily activities..

alhamdullillah its day 11 of the ramadhan and everything has been going well.. the cookies sales has been well for a first timer :P currently in the mood of learning and baking .. kuih samprit is in the itinary for the oven this week:P today's dessert?? thinking of making "kuih seri muka" but we'll see..

no planned iftar sessions this week except for friday; cant wait to try the place since i missed last years session:P mama's birthday is coming up as well..since its the ramadhan maybe we'll have a small celebration after the terawih..

oh yaa.. have u guys ever watched the tv1 while waiting for maghrib azan?? i find it funny that the assorted advertisements that consist of whitening products, collegen, slimming range and put it the before azan slots...its rather annoying!! the advertisments came in between the tadarus al quran and azan! tv1 should look into this matter i think...

to wanny and afie: i've started watching the coffee prince!! so far so good..funny!
