just to share...
a friend sent me this quotation..i think its sweet..
“Find a guy who calls you beautiful instead of hot, who calls you back when you hang up on him, who will lie under the stars and listen to your heartbeat, or will stay awake just to watch you sleep... wait for the boy who kisses your forehead, who wants to show you off to the world when you are in sweats, who holds your hand in front of his friends, who thinks you’re just as pretty without makeup on. One who is constantly reminding you of how much he cares and how lucky he is to have YOU... The one who turns to his friends and says, that’s her...”

The Guidance Prayer
We are humans, powerless in many ways We should turn to Allah and seek His perfect help whenever we require it? Allah would respond to the call of His servant when he asks for guidance, and we are after all seeking to do something in order to please Him.
Istikharah means to ask Allah to guide you to the path best for you concerning an affair with two halal options. In matters that are wajib (obligatory), haram (forbidden) or makruh (disliked) there is no need to pray Istikharah. Salaat-ul-Istikharah should only be used for matters that are mubah (allowed) or in matters that are mustahabb (liked or encouraged), in which there is a decision to be made as to which one should be given priority (i.e. get married or go to grad school).
Many wrong notions exist concerning istikharah. Many Muslims will pray, read the du'a, and run to bed expecting to see a dream showing them their future wife, what her favourite colour is, and some other weird fantasy. That is not the purpose of this salat.
The results of an istikharah can take many forms. Basically, you go by your feelings, whether you now feel more favourable or not. Also, you may notice events have changed, either for or against you. Note that you must follow the results of an istikharah, because not doing so is tantamount to rejecting Allah's guidance once you've asked for it. Also, you should firstly clear your mind, not have your mind already decided, and then afterwards follow the results willingly.
It is a sunnah that, if one must choose between permissible alternaratives, one may pray two non-obligatory raka’at, even if they are of the sunnah prayers or a prayer for entering the mosque, and so on, during any time of the day or night, and to recite therein whatever one wishes of the Qur'an after reciting al-Fatihah. Then one praises Allah and sends salutations to the Prophet and recites the supplication in the Hadith below.
The description of Salaat-ul-Istikharah was narrated by Jabir ibn 'Abd- Allah al-Salami (may Allah be pleased with him) who said:
"The Messenger of Allah used to teach his companions to make istikharah in all things, just as he used to teach them surahs from the Qur'an.
He said: 'If any one of you is concerned about a decision he has to make, then let him pray two rak'ahs of non-obligatory prayer, then say:
'O Allah, I seek Your guidance [in making a choice] by virtue of Your knowledge, and I seek ability by virtue of Your power, and I ask You of Your great bounty. You have power, I have none. And You know, I know not. You are the Knower of hidden things. O Allah, if in Your knowledge, this matter (then it should be mentioned by name) is good for me both in this world and in the Hereafter (or: in my religion, my livelihood and my affairs), then ordain it for me, make it easy for me, and bless it for me. And if in Your knowledge it is bad for me and for my religion, my livelihood and my affairs (or: for me both in this world and the next), then turn me away from it, [and turn it away from me], and ordain for me the good wherever it may be and make me pleased with it."
The Prophet added that then the person should mention his need. [Sahih Bukhari]
Salat-ul-Istikharah is just two rakats of a non-obligatory prayer, prayed at anytime during the day, with a specific dua at the end. While reciting the dua, you should be thinking about the situation you want to be advised about with pure intentions and from the bottom of your heart. And Allah says that whenever he guides a heart aright it can never be misguided. Afterwards, you should 'have a good feeling' about one of your options. Whatever option you feel is best right after you say the dua should be your decision. If you're still in doubt, you can repeat.
An-Nawawi holds that
"...after performing the istikharah, a person must do what he is wholeheartedly inclined to do and feels good about doing and should not insist on doing what he had desired to do before making the istikharah. And if his feelings change, he should leave what he had intended to do, otherwise he is not completely leaving the choice to Allah, and would not be honest in seeking aid from Allah's power and knowledge. Sincerity in seeking Allah's choice, means that one should completely leave what he himself had desired or determined."
Some people mistakenly wait for a dream to give a clear sign as to what decision to make, but this is not true, and often times it never really happens. In fact, dreams may lead you away from what Allah wants you to do, as Shaytan might try to deceive you in your dreams.
Salat-ul-Istikharah is for everybody. It's a way for all of us to implore Allah for divine guidance and mercy. It is yet another invaluable resource from Allah to keep us on the straight and narrow Sirat al-Mustaqim. The Prophet told all Muslims about Istikharah, not just the scholars. Despite this gift, too many of us take the advice of our friends and parents, or accept the norms of our society and act without ever wondering what Allah wants us to do. We must stop looking to the dunya for guidance. We must begin to consult Allah.
I cannot provide a better conclusion than saying that you must put your trust in Allah. You must have trust in His concern for us, and His ability to help us. Allah says:
"Put your trust in Allâh, certainly, Allâh loves those who put their trust (in Him)." [Surah Al-Imran,3: 159]

to all drivers out there!!
just received this email from my SIL..just thought of sharing it to everyone.. please spread this for the safety of your loveones
Dear All,
Just be careful especially if u are driving Toyata
Estima or other luxury cars targeted by these
impersonators
This happened to me today.
Please take care.
I was visiting a specialist at Sg. Besi,
located at a shophouse near South City Plaza , Sg. Besi today
with my 8 year old daughter. If, like me, you are unfamiliar
with this part of KL, its is adjacent to The Mines, off the
Besraya Highway . This was at 1 pm, broad daylight, with lots
of people about.
After the consultation, my daughter and I
got into my car, a Toyota Estima. I started the engine and
was about to back out of the streetside parking space when a
bunch of men (in this case, of Indian ethnic background) who
were fussing around another car parked two lots away turned
around and started to gesture to me to stop. They flashed police IDs and
indicated that I should stop. I assumed that something
untoward had happened to the car, or its occupants (a
white MPV) which had its bonnet up and doors opened, and
around 10 guys buzzing around it. I felt uneasy right away
and (whilst with the windows up & door locked) gestured
to them that I would speak to them a liitle further down the
road. (away from so many guys).
A white van marked with the familiar blue
"Polis DiRaja Malaysia " insignia on the doors and
bonnet drove up alongside and the two men disembarked and
showed me their IDs once again. They said that my car road
tax serial number was different from that registered to my
vehicle licence plate and that I should allow them to check
the chassis number of the vehicle by lifting the bonnet. I
immediate countered that by asking them " Eh, what
exactly are you guys doing huh?"
They replied, " We are the police, cannot read ah? We
are doing our jobs." whilst gesturing towards their
IDs. They also showed me their mobile hand-held
"checking unit" which looked all "official-website-form" on it and showed me a
number and pointed out that this was different from that
shown on my road tax sticker.
Since the sticker faces outwards I had no
way of checking. I just contered that with " Eh, if the
number is different, its your problem, not mine. Whats wrong
with your computer system huh?" They got very
irritated. In the meantime, while this exchange was
happening, I was trying to call my husband on his moblie to
verify the road tax renewal (cos, y'know, us wimmin
don't like to get our hands dirty with this kinda
thing).... Rang, couldn't get through immediately, so to
buy a little more time, I told the plainclothes cops that I
didnt't think that they were cops (altho I wasn't sure)
and that I wanted the check to be done in the police
station. They said, sure, to follow them to the station nearby.
They started to drive their police van and
indicated for me to follow them. By this time I got through
to my husband and he just said - " car jackers,
don't follow them, this is bulllshit" I was already
panicking because there was like quite a few of the guys by
the car, and I wasn't sure if there were't any of
the group tailing me...whether I was a car sandwich or no.
So I gave my husband the van's licence plate and drove around looking for the
nearest access to the highway (tol plaza) The police van
followed me and I just kept smiling at them and gesturing
for them to follow me. (gila huh?) Then I stopped at the tol
lane (The Sg. Besi Tol) realised there is no tol office just
the drivethrough counter. (almost went to the smart tag lane out of habit... just
see how bodoh we can be) I just stopped there and told the
girl at the counter my dilemma....for about 10 minutes. The
van went through the toll and drove off. I waited to be sure
no other vehicle was waiting around, gave the girl the
licence plate and asked her to call the cops, although I had
doubts about follow-through. Even at that time, I wasn't
100% sure if they were genuine thugs or cops... because,
sadly, as we alll know... even the real thing looks pretty
iffy in this part of the world huh?
Anyway, my husband had called back to say
that they had checked the plate with Bukit Aman and they
boys in blue do not have a vehicle with that registration. I
just kept drivin' and drivin' and drivin' cos
really, I had no idea where I was.... until I reached Sunway
Pyramid. For the life of me I really don't know how I
got there (Since South KL is terra incognita), and mainly
because I was so busy checking my rear view mirror to see if
any car was tailing me. My 8 year old daughter was getting a
little nervous in the back there.
When we got out of the car as I had decided
to have lunch at Sunway Pyramid (I had to calm down right?)
she turned to me and said... " I think they wanted the
car AND me" Oh dear god... I hadn't even thought about THAT
So please, do watch out. The van plate (which is probably fake...) was WMK 3944.
Doesn't matter, who and how and when, the ploys, I'm sure, keep
evolving, just be your most SCEPTICAL self at all times when "OUT THERE".
Take care y'all.

anyways isu berbangkit pada musim ini adalah soal life partner...as usual ke mana sahaja i pergi isu itu pasti akan timbul...if people were to ask what type of guys im looking for kadang i pun tak tau nak jawab..tapi what im certain would be...
@--@ acccept me for who i am...makes me feel comfortable..pious and will lead me to become a better muslim and person..family oriented..suka kids since i adore them..responsible..protective [the good way though]..someone i can rely on and feel secure with...
i guess thats the basic characteristics.. kenapa im still single? the answer is simple...lom jumpa yang sesuai.. i never want to go through what i went through before..enough said! bukan i ngada or cerewet or whatever but i want to be certain :D
ok..enough bout that..currently enjoying the learning stage at work...starting to be more confident..
another suprising incident happen to me last week as well.. the first time in my life i couldnt recall where i parked my car at work..first day park kat parking staff dah lupa..pffttt..most of my friends know im not the type of person yg lupa parking mana no matter where n how big the parking space is..malah im the one who they rely on finding their cars even..dont know where my mind went...nasib baik a friend helped me..at the rate of my panic i dont think ill ever find my car :P

Muhasabbah Cinta
Wahai... Pemilik nyawaku
Betapa lemah diriku ini
Berat ujian dariMu
Kupasrahkan semua padaMu
Tuhan... Baru ku sedar
Indah nikmat sehat itu
Tak pandai aku bersyukur
Kini kuharapkan cintaMu
Reff. :
Kata-kata cinta terucap indah
Mengalir berzikir di kidung doaku
Sakit yang kurasa biar jadi penawar dosaku
Butir-butir cinta air mataku
Teringat semua yang Kau beri untukku
Ampuni khilaf dan salah selama ini
Ya ilahi....
Muhasabah cintaku...
Tuhan... Kuatkan aku
Lindungiku dari putus asa
Jika ku harus mati
Pertemukan aku denganMu
